Knights Security started with a single overnight shift at Bethell’s Beach. It has since grown into the most credited name in New Zealand film security.
Knights has repeatedly been entrusted with securing multiple studios and production sites at once.
Productions are fixed-term and constantly moving, so our service moves with them, scaling up and down as production volume calls for it.
Screen work is all Knights does. Everything is built around how productions actually run, and around integrating closely enough to be an asset to the production rather than just a security supplier.

Knights is an independent New Zealand security contractor. Studio and platform names indicate productions we have supported and do not imply endorsement or any ongoing commercial relationship.
Film security is probably 90% security and 10% understanding film. Get that 10% wrong and you can get 100% of the job wrong.
An expensive laptop or power tool can be replaced in half an hour. A unique costume, prop or set piece may not be replaceable at all on the day production needs it.
Of everything a production is exposed to, delay is usually the most expensive. Guarding against it shapes how we work.
We treat security as an operational problem rather than a guarding problem. Work out what success looks like, what could stop it, then put the right people in the right roles, and build systems that let them perform consistently.
